EBUSpro: Full video endobronchial ultrasound

World premiere: Digital video quality in endobronchial ultrasound for the first time.

For the detection and staging of paratracheal, mediastinal and hilar lymph nodes and non-infiltrating tumours on the outer bronchial wall, endobronchial ultrasound and real-time EBUS TBNA set new standards in bronchoscopy.

Unlike conventional EBUS technologies, where the image is conducted from the lens to the video chip in the control body by means of fibre optics, the CCD chip of the PENTAX EBUSpro is integrated directly into the endoscope‘s distal end. The image signal is transmitted to the monitor digitally, without loss of image quality. This results in the highest resolution bronchoscopic video imaging in combination with high-resolution endobronchial ultrasound currently available.
