Combining a 10.1 megapixels sensor to a high performance PENTAX zoom lens, the Optio E90 delivers high-quality images with sharp details and faithfull color reproduction.

Optical 3x zoom lens and 2.7'' LCD screen

The Optio E90 features a wide-angle 3x zoom lens equivalent to 32-96mm in 35mm format, allowing you to handle landscapes as well as group shots in a confined space. The high resolution 2.7'' LCD screen (230.000 dots) offers absolute convenience not only to view captured images but also to make camera settings.

Comfortable, easy-to-hold grip

The Optio E90’s exterior has been treated with a smooth rubber coating, and the right side of the front panel forms a grip for a firm and comfortable hold of the camera.

Making perfect pictures has never been so easy

The Optio E90 features the Face Detection function, which automatically catches the subject's face in sharp focus and in optimum exposure. You also can program the camera to automatically release the shutter when the subject’s face turns straight toward the camera and smiles.

Auto Picture mode for automatic selection of the ideal shooting mode

The Optio E90 features the PENTAX-original Auto Picture mode, which automatically and instantly selects one of eight shooting modes (Landscape, Portrait, Night Scene, Night Scene Portrait, Flower, Sport, Standard, and Candlelight) for a given subject or scene.

Powered by world-standard AA-size batteries

Because the Optio E90 uses two AA-size batteries, replacements can be found almost anywhere in the world. Its highly energy-efficient design gives it the ability to take approximately 220 images* with a pair of fresh alkaline batteries.

Digital filters and Digital Panorama modes

The Optio E90 comes equipped with 6 digital filters to add various visual effects to recorded images without the need for a computer. You can even apply multiple filters to a single image.

The Digital Panorama mode automatically creates a single panoramic picture from up to 3 images, which is extremely useful when making pictures of 180° landscapes or high building.
